Project Representatives
Sebastián Carrasco, is a visual artist with a degree in Art from Universidad de Los Andes and an MFA in Fine Arts from Hunter College, NY. His work has been exhibited in prominent galleries and cultural spaces such as Liberia Central Contemporánea (Bogotá), Espacio Odeón (Bogotá), SGR Galería (Bogotá) and Glass House ArtLifeLab (Brooklyn, NY). Carrasco has received awards such as first place in the Young Colombian Artist Award from the Embassy of Spain in Colombia (2019), the Young Artist Award from the University of Los Andes (2020) .
His work includes digital narratives in augmented reality, multi-channel video installations and 3D animation, notably for the Gold Museum of Colombia. He is founder of the collective 4-18 and has been director of the Digital Media Collective at Hunter College. He has also taught at Universidad Externado de Colombia, Universidad del Rosario and Universidad del Bosque.
Francisco holds a degree in Anthropology from Universidad de los Andes and a Master's in Visual Anthropology from the University of Barcelona, where he graduated with honors and co-directed the documentary *Familia sin domicilio*. He also earned a Master's in Creative Documentary from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and has completed courses in film editing and directing. Francisco has worked on several documentary projects as an editor and cinematographer. He is currently the producer of the short documentary *The Future We Were*, directed by Sebastián Carrasco, and will begin editing a documentary filmed in Malawi in November 2024.
