What we’ll be looking for throughout the year

DOK Industry

DOK Industry is our platform for international documentary and animation film professionals. Our employees connect filmmakers, production companies, TV stations, VoD platforms, distributors and sales agents. They also organise events where industry players can discuss their latest film projects, find financing or distribution channels, and learn about current trends. 

We will be looking for:

  • Assistant DOK Industry (all genders): 1/7–28/11/2025
  • Event Producer (all genders): 4/8–28/11/2025
  • Intern (all genders): 18/8–14/11/2025

We will publish the vacancies at the end of April.

Guest Management and Accreditation

Our hospitality team is in constant contact with the filmmakers in the festival programme, with invited guests and with the juries. In consultation with the programming and industry departments, they invite our guests, manage their travel arrangements and are the point of contacts at the guest counter in the festival centre. They process and check incoming accreditation requests, maintain the database and issue accreditation badges.

We will be looking for:

  • Guest Management Assistant (all genders): 1 August–14 November 2025
  • Guest management intern (all genders): 25 August–24 November 2025

The vacancies are planned to be published in May.

Volunteers

Every year, motivated volunteers support us during and around the festival week. It’s an opportunity for film lovers to gain accreditation, peek behind the scenes, meet our filmmakers, answer audience questions and immerse themselves in the festival. The commitment of our many volunteers is part of why DOK Leipzig is known for its welcoming atmosphere and professionalism.

Our call for volunteers will open in summer 2025.
