Jing Zhao is a filmmaker and new media video artist based in London. An alumna of the London Film School and a current BAFTA Connect member, she draws on her background in psychology, viewing filmmaking as a form of exposure therapy. Her work centres on creating authentic, nuanced female characters navigating complex relationships, with a focus on themes such as self-identity, multicultural conflict, contemporary mythology, and man-made stage spaces in everyday life.Her films have been internationally recognized, including at Cannes La Cinéf, Palm Springs, Slamdance, and Visions du Réel. Jing was recently commissioned by the FluxusMuseum. Snow, Tiger, Reunion is her first XR project. She seeks to bring traditional Chinese literature to Western audiences, while shedding light on the underrepresented and oversimplified East-Asian women on screen.

Lynn Song is a Korean-Japanese film and XR producer based in England. With over 10 years of experience as a festival programmer, talent development executive and producer in Japan, she has worked with the Berlinale EFM, Venice Biennale, Kaohsiung Film Festival to support Japanese independent cinema. As part of the BFI NETWORK and Tamasha Digital Producers’ programmes, Lynn continues to expand her works on stories that dives into multiple layers of immigration and continues to collaborate with artists from multi-heritage backgrounds.
