Wiktor Filip Gacparski

Wiktor Filip Gacparski is a freelance director and cameraman with a rich background in documentary filmmaking and multimedia production. He is currently working on "Scratching the Surface," a VR documentary on analog art in digital worlds, and "Babcia," a film about Krysia, a woman from Nazi-occupied Poland exploring her past to highlight memory's significance. Wiktor is passionate about documenting human stories, enjoys travelling, meeting people, and discovering stories. As co-founder of Open Matter Studio GbR, he is at the forefront of integrating Virtual Reality into filmmaking, aiming to create immersive narratives that address societal questions and emphasise the human experience.

Alexander Mettin

Cultural manager dedicated to high-quality art and preserving creative freedom. He ensures creativity thrives free from administrative constraints. At Manusarts GmbH, he excelled in projects like “Factory Drop” (short film) and “Nordic Summer Vibes” (music festival), showcasing skills in conceptual development, strategic planning, budgeting, and execution. His leadership, event planning, marketing, and team coordination are noteworthy. In 2024, he co-founded Open Matter Studio with Wiktor to push cinematic storytelling boundaries using VR. They explore contemporary questions—such as technology's role in society and authenticity in art—with a focus on the human element. Open Matter Studio funds unconventional projects aiming for critical and commercial success, creating immersive experiences that revolutionize storytelling in VR.
